Bringing construction chemical products closer to people

With their mission to educate the public about the right construction chemicals and methodologies, Buildrite Construction Chemicals and Sinclair Paints started rolling out their Sale Center initiative, bringing high-quality products and value-added services closer to their customers.

The Sales Center program is the latest business initiative of Magna Prime Construction Technologies, Inc., the parent company of Buildrite and Sinclair Paints. It seeks to offer their products through existing hardware stores and interested investors, converting their facilities into official Buildrite and Sinclair sales centers. The sales centers will then serve as a “point of contact” in areas where Buildrite and Sinclair products are not readily available.

“Placing our products in depots, hardware stores, and online shops isn’t enough anymore. The need for high-quality construction chemicals and onsite assistance has risen in the past few years.” explained Founder and CEO Derrick Tan in an interview.

Since the launch of Buildrite’s Magtanong Para Sigurado campaign in June of 2022, there has been overwhelming support from the people, but the most frequently asked question remains:

“Where can I buy your products?”

Buildrite and Sinclair’s social media pages, including their online shop and website, receive over 5000 messages and 10,000 comments per month. Such numbers are constantly rising as their reach also increases, especially for homeowners, contractors, architects, engineers, and even government agencies.

“With the number of inquiries we receive every day, we can see that people are starting to recognize the importance of using the right construction chemicals and methodologies,” Tan added.

Buildrite and Sinclair promote the use of a system solution approach to solving different construction requirements, which entails a combination of various products. With availability and assortment concerns, the sales centers will become a crucial piece of the puzzle.

What’s next for Buildrite and Sinclair Paints?

Buildrite’s meteoric rise to popularity and the potential of Sinclair Paints made Magna Prime a game-changer, challenging the norms and fast-tracking industry standardization.

Following the relaunch of Sinclair Paints: The New Generation Paint and Buildrite’s SmartBond Flex and Readycrete at PhilConstruct Expo 2022, Magna Prime is now focusing on deeply penetrating the grassroots communities.

When asked about the impact of sales centers on the local communities, Tan said, “Everything is now in place. Through our sales centers, we can reach more people, especially in areas where on-ground assistance is lacking and shipping remains a major concern.”

The idea behind the establishment of sales centers nationwide was to complement the company’s mission to fill in the gaps in the construction chemical industry, which also includes swift delivery time, a complete assortment of products for system solutions, and the availability of onsite assistance.

Currently, Magna Prime is in the process of converting several hardware stores into sales centers. Many investors have also reached out to Magna Prime, wanting to start their own customer-centric hardware business.

Becoming a pioneer sales center in a provincial city or municipality comes with many benefits.

Buildrite and Sinclair sales centers will serve as Magna Prime’s direct link to the people on the ground. As a point of contact for all Buildrite patrons in each area, sales centers will also serve like a local branch where customers can get free consultations, buy a complete assortment of products, and request onsite visits, as sales centers will work hand-in-hand with an assigned project sales personnel.

Probably the biggest advantage of owning a sales center is the direct online technical assistance from Buildrite and Sinclair’s team of experts. Furthermore, Magna Prime will provide a comprehensive training program to equip sales center personnel with the necessary knowledge in answering customer FAQs regarding construction chemicals. This also comes with learning materials, such as magazines, modules, soft copies of presentations, and instructional videos.

Having a direct connection with Magna Prime, sales centers are forwarded with referred clients from the company’s customer service team. Sales centers can also cater to existing accounts in the area to streamline the product delivery process. In addition, sales centers are able to offer wholesale packages to interested retailers and other smaller distribution channels. This means that sales centers benefit from the digital marketing efforts of Buildrite and Sinclair, as regular promotions of specific stores are done to increase awareness in each area.

According to Tan, the initiative is expected to highly influence local construction-related businesses, especially because many contractors and homeowners are now becoming more interested in and knowledgeable about construction chemicals.

“We are determined to change the status quo. We know that there’s still a long way to go, but we will surely get there — by teaching one person at a time,” he said.
